Discounts are available when taking the PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer (MSDT) preparation program.
Tuition includes knowledge development and required confined-water (if applicable) or open-water training.
Not included: Specialty Instructor application fees, MSDT training materials, and MSDT application fees.
Prerequisites & Registration
- Minimum age: 18.
- Hold the appropriate PADI instructor or assistant-instructor credentials required for the specific specialty.
- Some specialties require additional logged dives, prior experience or certifications.
- Provide one digital ID photo (or upload it in the PADI App).
Course Structure
Knowledge Development (Theory)
Specialty standards, knowledge topics, instructional skills and risk management.
Confined Water (Pool)
Equipment and skills demonstrations in confined water when required by the specialty.
Open Water (Ocean)
Complete any specialty-specific open-water teaching and training requirements.
